• Who We Are: Alpaca is a fast-growing series B fintech company that’s raised over $120 million in funding. • Your Role: Design highly scalable, mission-critical brokerage system, implement backend services and web applications, maintain good software quality and test coverage, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot incidents and reported bugs. • Things You Get To Do: Play a pivotal role in architecting and developing web applications that push the boundaries of technology, work closely with cross-functional teams to create elegant and scalable software solutions, and lead projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the overall technical strategy.
Requirements
• Minimum 4 years of experience of full-stack development • Experience with at least one modern programming language like React, GoLang, Python, etc. Our platform is based in Golang and React • SQL or relational database skills • Experience with NextJS is a plus • Hands-on knowledge with Bash, Linux & Docker. Kubernetes experience is a plus • Good understanding of the financial market • Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies • Knowledge of clean code principles
