📋 Description

• Are you looking for an opportunity to use your IT skills to truly change the world for the better? We are the leading non-profit organization that is redesigning the tools that enable public health agencies to do their jobs. • We need committed, mission-driven technologists to help us build the next generation of public health tools for our Public Health Systems department. • Public Health Systems advances population health management and healthcare delivery through the development of public health IT systems, health information exchange, and interoperability solutions. • We work with State and Federal government agencies to build and develop software that impacts people's lives. • In this role, you will have the opportunity to help Altarum modernize the public health infrastructure and make a difference in your community. • Our Public Health Systems department's efforts range from building the next generation technology in disease surveillance to optimizing data standards and system integrations to improve the coordination and delivery of healthcare for patients. • You’ll work in an Agile environment alongside a team of Software Developers, Business Analysts, and Public Health Analysts.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. • At least 5+ years’ experience working in an agile/scrum environment using JIRA. • Ability to manage a team. • Ability to delegate and oversee tasks across a product team. • Track record of successfully gathering and defining requirements for software development products, and testing tools and functionalities. • Experience with product development principles. • Strategic thinking/visioning - able to articulate the vision for long term success of a product. • Great communicator (oral and written), presenter, positive, engaging, passionate, persuasive, and respectful. • Have an inquisitive and innovative nature with integrity and a willingness to step into new roles; be laser-like focused on deadlines, team focused and have a collaborative mentality; and a commitment to continuously learning and improving. • Ability to simplify complex technical ideas and serve as liaison between technical and business teams. • Comfortable working with multiple teams, dispersed nationally, and remote. • Accurate and precise attention to detail. • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders. • Excellent presentation skills and comfortable with performing demos, training, and pitching the product to existing and new customers.
