Description

• Remote U.S. or Canadian Role – Eastern/Central Time Zone Preferred. • About the role: Develop financial performance support for software vertical business units within Altera. • Key responsibilities: Prepare financial forecasts, maintain revenue models, and conduct financial reporting. • Travel for this role is minimal. • Work location: Remote U.S. or Canadian-based role; Eastern or Central time zone preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field, or equivalent years of experience. • 3-5 years of experience in a financial analyst role, with experience managing a full P&L. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a mature and proactive approach to responsibilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels. • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities. • Able to work independently and as part of a team, including working effectively and positively in a matrix environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience using various formulas and functions. • Experience with one or more ERPs (Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, etc.) and financial reporting tools, i.e. Hyperion, TM1 preferred. • Experience supporting a software industry business preferred
