📋 Description

• At Alto, we’re changing the way people invest for the future. • We created a solution that allows ordinary people to invest their tax-advantaged retirement funds into non-traditional assets. • You’ll lead and mentor engineers, fostering their growth, while applying technical expertise to oversee architecture and guide technical decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in technical leadership driving on-time project delivery. • Deep technical expertise to lead code reviews, steer technical discussions, and provide strategic oversight (hands-on coding not required daily). • Proven experience managing complex technical projects, with a strong track record of delivering on time through effective planning, execution, and stakeholder communication. • Expertise in designing scalable, secure architectures and leveraging cloud systems (AWS preferred). • Track record of hiring, developing talent, and scaling engineering teams to meet deadlines. • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving on-time delivery in fast-paced environments. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. • Experience in FinTech or regulated industries strongly preferred; background in IRAs or cryptocurrency is a plus.
