Description

• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product quotations and technical information in a timely manner. • Determine clients’ requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products, services and/or solutions. • Accurately process client transactions such as orders, quotes or returns. • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering featured promotional sale items. • Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to product shipment dates and expected date of delivery. • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed. • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team. • Communicate to the purchasing department unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products. • Follow company policies and procedures. • Present a professional image at all times to clients and vendors. • Excellent written and oral communication.

Requirements

• 2-3 yrs. experience in Inside Sales or related field or manufacturing. • Machining background, manufacturing experience or strong mechanical abilities. • Excellent phone manner and superior communication skills. • Accurate data entry skills. • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet. Eclipse system is a plus. • Ability to multitask in a fast paced changing and dynamic work environment. • Strong organizational skills. • Works well in a group/team setting with limited amounts of supervision
