• As the Data & Business Operations Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping the AMA maximize the value of its data. • By refining survey processes, creating impactful reports, and enriching data quality, you’ll empower smarter decisions and deliver exceptional customer experiences. • Your work will help foster a culture of data literacy and streamline operations, turning insights into actions that drive growth. If you’re ready to make an impact and see the results of your work, we’d love to have you on our team. • Reporting and Analytics • Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and manage reports that capture essential business metrics and trends. • Support for Metrics Tracking: Assist in the development of approaches to track new metrics, with guidance on assessment tools that meet evolving needs. • Data Training & Documentation Support: Help create documentation or assist with training sessions on data tools and visualization best practices, promoting data literacy across teams. • Trend Identification: Assist in identifying and analyzing trends that support forecasting and planning efforts related to customer behavior, channel performance, and overall customer experience. • Process Improvement: Help identify opportunities for process enhancements and participate in implementing new efficiencies, under direction. • Data Enrichment • Data Enrichment & Integration: Contribute to data management by importing data, managing spreadsheets, and ensuring data accuracy, with a focus on making Salesforce the primary source of truth. The long-term goal is to make personalization a reality. • Data Quality Assurance: Conduct data quality checks periodically to maintain accuracy, consistency, and relevancy across all data sources. • Surveys • Survey Work: Assist in identifying what surveys are needed, how to improve them, and create them with guidance from the business teams. Also, organizing Qualtrics and the survey data. • Customer Support and Operations • Process Documentation and Automation Support: Assist in documenting key business processes and identifying areas where automation could reduce manual work. • Customer Support Overflow: Help the Customer Support Team with projects when needed. This might include everything from contacting customers to data entry. The hope is that we find ways to improve current processes to lessen manual work.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio) for creating dashboards and reports. • At least two years of experience designing, managing, and analyzing surveys using tools like Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or similar platforms. • At least two years of experience in managing large datasets, importing/exporting data, and ensuring data accuracy. • At least a year of experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce and integration processes, including data imports and enrichment. • Ability to conduct data quality checks to ensure accuracy and relevancy. • Experience identifying and analyzing business trends to support forecasting and planning. • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders. • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
