• Lead construction and operations teams responsible for renewable energy projects implementation within various markets. • Provide hands-on leadership, planning, direction, and management of renewable energy project administration, construction, and commissioning resources. • Manage project interfaces with engineering, plant operations, and business development teams. • Oversee the development of detailed scopes of work and preparation of subcontractor bid and contract documents. • Evaluate technologies and equipment for project application suitability. • Monitor vendor and subcontractor coordination for cost efficiency and schedule. • Perform critical review of submittals for quality assurance and technical accuracy. • Manage project construction cost and budget activities, providing monthly forecasts. • Prepare accurate, detailed monthly project status reports and schedules. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, practices, and codes.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or energy infrastructure-related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience • Minimum of 10 years technical engineering, energy services, and/or consulting experience leading the construction and implementation of multi-million-dollar energy efficiency and renewable technology projects • Demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify energy and operational needs, use, and savings projections for energy savings performance contracts • Excellent working knowledge of building automation and energy management systems • Proven experience with building simulation, project estimating, measurement, and verification • Financial planning and budget experience • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, including Excel abilities • Proficient knowledge of energy analysis software, including EQuest, DOE-2, Trane/Trace 700 • Excellent verbal, written, computer communication and presentation skills required • Valid Driver's license issued by state of residence and in good standing • May be required to pass security clearance investigation • Travel is required as needed; anticipated to be around 25%
