Description
• Manage a diverse caseload under different state and federal law jurisdictions • Handle all aspects of federal and state open records litigation • Mentor and support junior attorneys • Develop litigation strategies to support AO’s mission
Requirements
• Juris Doctor degree and admission to practice in at least one state (with eligibility to join District of Columbia bar) • 10+ years of relevant legal experience (external), 7+ years (internal or former AO employees) • Experience leading civil litigation in federal and/or state court for 2+ years • Strong skills in litigation, legal research, negotiation, communication, project management, judgment, and collaboration
