• Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you’re capable of? • At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. • To achieve our mission, we’re seeking a very specific candidate. • We want someone who is passionate about our mission and who believes in the power of crypto and blockchain technology to update the financial system. • Coinbase is looking to bring some of its litigation docket in-house. • We are seeking a Sr. Trial Counsel with a track record of winning at trial. • The successful candidate will report to our Head of Consumer Litigation and will own every aspect of their matters. • Your matters will vary but would generally consist of U.S. consumer arbitrations. • Some travel will be required (to trials and hearings), but the position is otherwise fully remote.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience at a top tier law firm or in the government as a trial lawyer or federal prosecutor, particularly with significant experience handling trials, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations. • Exceptional writing ability. • Passionate about trying cases. • Enthusiasm for Coinbase’s mission, products, and services. • A strong interest in crypto and a passion to drive the economic freedom it can offer • Willingness to travel, and ability to work independently and autonomously • Juris doctor from accredited law school required • Member of a US state bar in good standing
