Description

• Provide effective support in litigation processes under attorney supervision • Assist attorney in trial preparation • Draft pleadings, motions, deposition summaries, and legal correspondence • Organize and evaluate medical records for trial preparation • Conduct investigations and discovery under limited supervision • Assist in trial attendance and administrative tasks

Requirements

• Experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service • Experience performing legal research, conducting investigations, gathering and summarizing medical records, indexing depositions, gathering evidence and preparing exhibits for trial • Experience preparing pleadings, motions, deposition summaries, discovery responses, and other legal correspondence • Knowledge and understanding of insurance, legal ethics rules and confidentiality • Experience with various PC software applications, legal research tools and trial applications • Knowledge and understanding of tort and contract law, legal procedures, legal terminology, and the judicial system
