Description

• Execute as a team member of the ES Performance, Strategy & Execution Business Operations team • Provide financial and procurement business process and training compliance support for the site • Support, and at times lead, project management activities for cross-functional initiatives • Coordinate collection, review, and investigation of financial data from ES teams in support of financial reporting cycles • Creation and maintenance of electronic visual management (EVM) dashboards related to key Forecast, Budget, and Financial Close activities • Perform analysis of business process effectiveness and recommend corresponding improvement activities including the review, revision and publishing of process document content applying Amgen’s controlled documentation system • Organize information from numerous sources to provide well-constructed deliverables

Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of operations and/or manufacturing experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of operations and/or manufacturing experience • OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of operations and/or manufacturing experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of operations and/or manufacturing experience • Strong demonstrated experience/understanding of end-to-end processes that impact financial reporting • Strong analytical and critical thinking, pattern recognition, and problem-solving capabilities • Excellent written and oral communication skills including ability to present meaningful data to executive leadership and top decision makers in a quick and concise manner • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team and under pressure, with a sense of urgency, to meet deadlines • Keen attention to detail and the skills for problem-solving and able to proactively address potential issues • Able to thrive in a high-volume, fast paced work environment • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel and Word) required • Experience working in Smartsheet, SAP and Tableau preferred
