Description

• Help create the next generation literacy assessment for Amira Learning. • Work with a team to build a groundbreaking assessment using AI and modeling. • Manage item development, review, scaling, and standards alignment. • Design algorithms for equating and analytics from observational data. • Collaborate on studies related to assessment reliability and validity. • Develop responsible AI standards and maintain psychometric documentation. • Interface with educators for high-fidelity assessment implementation.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in statistics, psychometrics, data science, educational measurement, or related field. • Experience in psychometrics, data science, and/or measurement, especially K-12 assessments. • Bonus points for experience with CBM and norm referenced assessments. • Experience with scaling and developing vertical scales. • Hands-on experience with an EdTech product. • Comfortable with python and/or R code for data pulling, cleaning, and analysis. • Solid understanding of bayesian statistics, IRT, and multi-stage testing (MST). • Ability to creatively solve problems at the intersection of innovation and traditional assessment requirements.
