• US Citizenship Required to obtain Public Trust • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field. • Minimum of 8 years in public relations and recruitment, with a proven track record in media relations, recruitment marketing, or public sector communications. • Direct experience with law enforcement recruitment, or a background supporting recruitment for law enforcement or security-focused organizations. • Proficiency with social media, digital marketing, and recruitment analytics tools; familiarity with public relations software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging messaging across diverse platforms. • Strong analytical abilities to assess recruitment metrics, evaluate campaign success, and adapt strategies based on quantitative insights. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media, educational institutions, military, and veteran organizations. • A clear understanding and commitment to CBP’s mission and a demonstrated interest in supporting national security and trade.
