• Develop and maintain expertise in Amplify’s products • Deliver high-quality, consultative discussions to identify customer needs and align Amplify’s products and services to address those needs • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets • Maintain a thorough understanding of the educational marketplace, industry trends, funding developments, and Amplify products • Build and nurture relationships with key buying stakeholders in accounts, including Superintendents, Curriculum Directors, Department Heads, teachers, and other influential school district contacts • Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, forecasts, account plans, and territory management activities as required • Develop and maintain a business pipeline of prospective clients and assume all territory management in the assigned territory • Gain customer commitments and advance opportunities through the sales process • Continually prospect for new business throughout the calendar year • Conduct customer-facing meetings in schools and district offices • Research territory trends, competition, and funding sources to strategically drive new sales • Devise and implement effective campaigns within the assigned region • Serve as a mentor to new AE’s • Deliver high-quality presentations and pitches • Network internally to secure tools needed to be successful, i.e., per diems, trainers • Work with Field Marketing to execute your territory plans to ensure you have the marketing needs you need to be successful • Collaborate with other teams (product, marketing, sales enablement, product specialists) to ensure regional needs are voiced • Present at national sales meetings (SSM/WSM) • Lead competition studies • Collect regional data/trends to share with District Managers
• Bachelor’s Degree • Able to travel and willing to commit to a heavy travel schedule (60-70% when traveling) • Must live within the Sales Territory • Excellent verbal, written and comprehension skills • 6+ years successful direct K-12 sales experience • Strong presentation skills • Deep understanding of the education sector and core curriculum market in Science, ELA and Math • Experience driving state and local adoption timelines and processes for both basal and supplemental print and technology-based materials • Experience using federal funds for the purchase of technology-based instructional goods and professional services
