Description

• Identify, prospect and approach new high-net-worth individuals and business funders • Lead proposals from concept through to submission • Proactively manage relationships with existing donors • Build effective relationships with network members • Represent the organization at relevant philanthropy events • Travel frequently to meet with donors and visit projects on site

Requirements

• Significant experience in proposal management and writing • Previous experience engaging directly with large donors or clients • Experience of selling to/raising funds from Mittelstand, family businesses or family offices • Exposure to direct marketing or business-to-business marketing (preferred) • Good understanding of monitoring and evaluation • Previous experience developing proposals in livelihoods and women’s economic empowerment • Demonstrable experience of working with numbers-based reporting • Demonstrable interest in international development issues • Outstanding written and oral German communication skills • Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment • Creative, innovative thinker • Ability to work autonomously • Excitement to be part of a new and growing organization • Strong attention to details • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills
