As an Account Manager at Ghost, you’ll build and manage relationships with buyers, helping them maximize the value of our platform. This role offers significant growth and learning opportunities in a fast-paced startup environment. Own the entire sales process, advancing opportunities from qualified leads to closed revenue. Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives, consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, identifying and engaging with clients to understand their needs. Communicate the value of Ghost's platform to potential partners, gathering market feedback to improve our offerings. Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and to maximize sell-side opportunities. Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and business insights with the team to shape future products and innovations. Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors to adapt strategies and inform pricing decisions. Maintain comprehensive sales records in the CRM, ensuring accuracy in tracking client milestones, including inventory cycle needs. Seek out opportunities for professional growth, staying up to date on industry trends and sales strategies. Actively participate in industry conferences and trade shows to promote Ghost’s products and expand your network. Regularly travel to customer sites, strengthening partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and deepening customer understanding.

Requirements

5-7 years of relevant experience in Sales required (preferably within retail eg apparel, footwear, home, beauty etc) Strong skills in Google G Suite. Familiarity with HubSpot is strongly preferred, if not knowledge of similar CRM platforms is a must. Tech-savvy – experienced and knowledgeable in using multiple channels/verticals. Exceptional communication skills – strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail. Strong ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively. Relationship management – ability to quickly understand the Ghost customer and gain a deep understanding of industry and customer needs. Ability to analyze market dynamics and translate insights into actionable business strategies. Committed to operational excellence – known for high-velocity execution. Results-driven and self-motivated. Self-directed – works with team members to move the ball forward without someone looking over your shoulder. Has a book of business with a proven track record of generating $100k+ a month of GMV
