Description
• Arcadis is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist • This position will support a key client and also other Arcadis clients with Environmental and/or Health & Safety regulatory compliance, auditing, and permitting projects • You will be a key senior member of our Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability team • Drive innovation and build strong technical communities within the EHS Space • Ability to travel (up to 25%) for project and client needs; however, work will also be performed from an Arcadis office location, at a client site, or remotely
Requirements
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience • BS in Engineering, Environmental Science, EHS Management, Occupational Health & Safety or other directly relevant science disciplines • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to edit and develop professional technical documents and perform data analysis • Knowledge of federal, state and local environmental compliance regulations including air quality, stormwater, wastewater, hazardous, universal and solid waste, chemical and oil management (preferred) • Knowledge of federal, state and local health & safety compliance regulations including but not limited to: hazard communication, hazardous substances, fall protection, machine guarding, PPE, walking/working surfaces, electrical safety, powered industrial trucks, respiratory and hearing protection (preferred) • Registrations/Certifications: BEAC, CHMM, EIT, PE, ISO Lead Auditor, CSP (preferred) • Knowledge of Management Systems (ISO 14001, 50001, 45001) (preferred)
