Description

β€’ Partner with Strategic Ops leaders, cross-functional partners and key stakeholders to help drive strategic priorities across the enterprise, analyze customer/employee journeys, and identify improvement opportunities β€’ Partner to identify Operational and Tech initiatives required to support UW across the enterprise β€’ Partner with IT and various UW leaders across the enterprise to define the short- and long-term Ops and Tech roadmap β€’ Partner to incorporate Strategic Analytics capabilities into Operations workflows across the organization β€’ Advise on transformation initiative prioritizations by providing an enterprise-wide perspective β€’ Drive business desires, outcomes and requirements and act as the glue between UW and IT β€’ Bring market insights on leading practices to inform business priorities across the organization β€’ Partner to drive improvement in the CX/EX journeys, including partnering with Strategic Analytics to provide input to UI/UX β€’ Partner to implement technology and analytics-enabled workflows in collaboration with IT, SA, and other enabling functions as needed β€’ Partner with IT and Lean Deployment Specialists to implement automation strategies and other technology-driven workflows β€’ Partner with IT and stakeholders to review and provide feedback on IT value generation β€’ Participate in the development of the Triangulation COE muscle and position the CoE to act as a central point for people, process, tech and data to support enterprise-wide business objectives. β€’ Partner in cross-functional problem-solving across IT, Data, Strategic Analytics, and other functions

Requirements

β€’ Proven experience in the development of large scale commercial and specialty Underwriting Systems (DuckCreek, Guidewire, Unqork, UW Platforms, etc.) and demonstrated value creation and business outcomes β€’ Effective communication of enterprise strategy and operational plan to stakeholders and operational enablers across the org β€’ Ability to discern operational and tech implications of strategic business plans β€’ Ability to partner with underwriting, technology and analytics to deliver solutions that meet customer & business needs β€’ Experience documenting strategic requirements and identifying opportunities to improve customer and employee journeys β€’ Familiarity with Process Mapping, Lean Process Improvement principles, and Agile frameworks β€’ Experience partnering with IT development teams in Agile delivery & execution through software development lifecycle, Product Management and Agile/Scrum framework β€’ Deep understanding of insurance product lifecycle β€’ Certified Scrum Product Owner, preferred β€’ Proficiency with Image Right, Policy Decisions Evolution and Policy Writer are a plus. β€’ Experience in consulting or working at large commercial insurers.
