Description

• Arvinas is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focusing on therapies that degrade disease-causing proteins. • Seeking a Senior Medical Director to support the neurology pipeline and execute medical affairs strategy. • Responsibilities include developing medical affairs plans, overseeing scientific content, and collaborating with cross-functional partners. • Requires a doctoral degree (MD, PharmD, PhD in neuroscience or neuropsychology) and extensive experience in neurology.

Requirements

• 12+ years of neurology medical affairs experience and/or relevant clinical practice preferably in neuromuscular disease, neuromodulation or movement disorders • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication and presentation skills • Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships • Experience conducting and/or presenting at advisory boards and related forums • Experience working with cross functional medical and development teams • Able to lead, prioritize, execute and manage several projects simultaneously • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for early and late state development in neurology • Growth mindset with demonstrated ability to perform player-coach activities • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to grow and develop others • Ability to travel up to 20% • Must have the ability to work without a need for current or future VISA sponsorship • Duties are generally conducted in a home office environment. Must be able to use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.
