📋 Description

• Position : Payroll Specialist • Client Name: Associated Veterinary Partners • Company’s Website : www.yourvetpartner.com • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM PST • Holidays : US or PH Holidays • Associated Veterinary Partners (AVP) is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our FP&A team! AVP is a fast-growing, partnership-focused owner and operator of veterinary hospitals across the US. AVP is primarily growing via acquisitions. • Founded and Operated by Veterinarians AVP is a practice group that wants to make it easier for veterinarians and their teams to practice gold standard medicine with full clinical autonomy. We enable veterinarians and their teams to focus on caring for their patients while also caring for themselves. • To succeed in this role, you should share AVP’s Core Values: Act with Integrity, Proactively Get Things Done, Be Accountable, Be Committed to the Veterinary Profession and our Local Communities and Draw Inspiration from these Shared Values. • Qualified candidates should demonstrate a growth-focused mindset, be self-motivated, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. • The Financial Controller is looking for a trusted partner with a Degree in Human Resources or at least 5 years of payroll experience required. • Candidates with experience in Paylocity will be the preferred candidates, however experts in the field of HRIS will be considered. This role will be responsible for our HRIS which is Paylocity.

🎯 Requirements

• Payroll Administration (See Paylocity statement above) – We process payroll for 21 entities and growing. • 401k – Setting up and maintaining employee records with online system • Benefits – Maintaining Employee Navigator the online Benefit enrollment System • Benefits -Reconciliation of accounts • Benefits – Preparing and filing invoices for the Controller • Operational Tax Registrations • HRIS Analysis – Paylocity System is our partner. • Calculating Production Pay and auditing historical Production Pay for our veterinarians across the network. This person will gain valued financial insight with operations and controller. • Onboarding new team members and ad hoc reporting within HRIS. • Training and development of Practice Managers (See above) • Generate ad-hoc reports within Paylocity (for example, reports on turnover, hiring costs and benefits)
