Description

• Act as the central coordination hub for all NFIP related activities • Liaise with compliance professionals to ensure Assurant’s participation in the NFIP satisfies existing requirements • Coordinate internal and external audits required by the NFIP • Be the point of contact for Department of Insurance (DOI) complaints and inquiries • Identify training and communication opportunities based on triage activities/findings • Liaise with professionals who conduct market research, risk analysis, and key data processes • Identify opportunities and threats in the market and coordinate strategies to assist the company • Serve as the integrator between claims, operations, and account management teams • Pursue, secure and drive integration for new partnerships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience • A minimum of 8 years in the Property & Casualty (P&C) industry, NFIP expertise is highly desired. • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership position. • Robust financial acumen and experience in budget management. • Demonstrated leadership with proven ability and accountability to lead initiatives in a highly matrixed organization. • Proven ability to partner and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis, determining insights which lead to enabling targeted actions being executed to enhance performance and/or experience.
