📋 Description

• Build scalable cloud services and services that manage and scale Atlassian’s support platform infrastructure. • Build solutions to enhance availability, performance and stability of Atlassian’s collaboration products and services. • Automate away repetitive work. • Build and maintain a continuous integration and delivery pipeline. • Be responsible for code, from writing to production. • Monitor metrics and statistics for high availability, production web services. • Respond to alerts, incidents, and requests for production web services. • Work on non-production and production environments, monitoring, data collection and configuration management. • Disaster recovery planning, capacity engineering, reliability improvement initiatives and platform automation. • Work collaboratively with other members of the engineering team to find solutions to complex problems.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study. • Two (2) years of experience in an IT related position in programming or software development across one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, Bash). • Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud providers. • Two (2) years of experience monitoring metrics and statistics for high availability, production web services. • Two (2) years of experience building and maintaining a continuous integration and delivery pipeline (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins). • Two (2) years of experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform). • Two (2) years of experience with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). • Experience using data and metrics to evaluate new technologies and technical directions. • Experience with monitoring/metrics systems (e.g. SignalFX, Datadog). • Administration and management of Linux systems.
