• Atropos Health is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our growing team. • The Sales Engineer role is an externally-facing role, responsible for working with the Sales team to demonstrate the value of Atropos Health’s solutions to Life Sciences and Health Systems prospects & clients. • The Sales Engineer researches customers, understands their needs, and aligns Atropos Health’s solutions and services to those needs. • They are responsible for the creation of presentation content, including demos, and will be integral to present the solution to customers during meetings. • The ideal candidate for this role has prior experience selling to both health systems and life science companies and has a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, data, technology, and analytical methods. • Must have extremely strong communication skills and able to clearly articulate complex ideas and concepts common to the healthcare industry. • Expected to be a subject matter expert and must conduct themselves with poise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this role. • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently. • Prior experience working with real-world healthcare data (EMR, claims, etc.) and deep knowledge of its advantages, shortcomings, and use cases is required. • Demonstrated experience working with a sales team. • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with SQL is required. Additional coding languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus. • Prior experience working and proven aptitude in a startup environment. • An advanced degree in a clinical setting (e.g., clinical informatics, MPH, MD) is preferred. • 7+ years work experience in healthcare, consulting, or pharmaceuticals/biotech in a customer facing role is required.
