• The Network Security Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network security infrastructure to protect the organization's systems and data. • This role involves monitoring and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security tools. • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity best practices, and hands-on experience with network security devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in network security administration. • Strong knowledge of firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto). • Proficiency in configuring and managing VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools. • Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and routing. • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements. • Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys). • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
