• The Network Security Administrator will design, implement, and manage network security. • This role involves monitoring and maintaining firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools. • The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of network protocols and cybersecurity best practices. • Key responsibilities include network security management, security policy implementation, incident response, network monitoring, and documentation. • Educating employees on network security best practices is also essential.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in network security administration. • Strong knowledge of firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto). • Proficiency in configuring and managing VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools. • Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and routing. • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements. • Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
