📋 Description

• Our engineering department consists of 200+ people across multiple teams, such as application development, infrastructure, data platform, machine learning, and security. • We believe our company will win in the long run through product innovation. • We're seeking a self-motivated, highly driven Engineering Manager to lead our Data Lake team. • You'll be at the helm of building and optimizing a cutting-edge platform that supports data-driven products and drives strategic outcomes for our customers. • By delivering an extensible data and compute environment, you'll ensure seamless access to mission-critical data sets. • In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Machine Learning, Product Engineer, Business Intelligence, and Engineering leadership to ensure the platform meets the diverse needs of these teams. • This hands-on role requires a balance of people management, technical oversight, and cross-functional leadership, making it ideal for a leader who excels in driving innovation and execution.

🎯 Requirements

• You have at least 5+ years of industry experience in data engineering and software development, with a proven track record of solving complex big data challenges and delivering impactful solutions. • You possess deep knowledge of data modeling, data access, and data replication techniques, and have hands-on experience with cloud-based Data Lakehouses. • You are an outstanding coach and mentor, with a talent for developing high-performing teams and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. • You have a strong commitment to software quality, with a history of building reliable, high-uptime systems that meet and exceed performance expectations. • You excel at translating business needs into well-defined projects, taking a hands-on approach to solution design, implementation, and execution. • You are passionate about emerging technologies and have the ability to evaluate and choose the right tools and technologies to drive innovation while balancing practical considerations. • You thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and ensure cohesive execution.
