• You will be key in architecting and building our platform backend (data model, business domain and application interfaces) • Instrumental in scaling up event-driven and real time systems • Crafting a highly reliable production platform with metrics, tracing, and logging • Developing the company culture around automated test suites and CI/CD pipelines • Advocating for good code quality assurance and eliminating early technology debt • Guiding other software engineers in best practices, overseeing code reviews as well as collaborating with our data scientists
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years track record, as a software engineer, designing and scaling up distributed applications • Exemplary Python coding abilities - Thrive for difficult programming challenges. • High scalability experience - Has been a tech leader on scaling systems to thousands of requests / events per day. • Startup-type experience - Has worked at a startup or high growth company • Collaboration-first mentality, with a willingness to teach as well as learn from others
