Description

• Athletes Unlimited is seeking a Controller to manage accounting and ensure financial compliance. • Oversee month-end close tasks and prepare financial statements according to GAAP. • Provide financial reports to senior management and contribute to strategic planning. • Work with vendors to monitor payables and resolve discrepancies. • Monitor cash flow and manage budgets for four professional sports leagues. • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred. • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in an accounting role • Experience with and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting and accounting principles • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management • Experience/proficiency with accounting software (Quickbooks, Sage, Xero, etc.) • Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) • Experience with e-commerce platforms preferred (Shopify, Stripe, etc.) • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality • Legal authorization to work in the United States
