📋 Description
• Design and build the systems and services that power the Information Lifecycle products • Collaborate with software architects to shape the architecture of Information Lifecycle systems • Define data services and APIs, data models/schemas, event streams • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and architectures • Articulate and collaborate on proposed software designs • Maintain expert-level knowledge of relevant architectural patterns and technologies • Lead re-use of platform capabilities and drive contributions to the Autodesk platform • Explain and present technical topics to varied audiences
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred • 10+ years of experience as a Software Architect or similar role in data-intensive cloud environments • Experience with cloud services, database architecture, big data tools, and frameworks • Strong understanding of data management and data processing principles • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture • Mastery of taking complex ideas and conveying them in a concise and impactful manner • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation abilities to effectively communicate software architecture strategy to a variety of stakeholders • Ability to collaborate with a global team and travel for work 5-10 times per year
