Description

• Lead and coordinate cloud cost optimization initiatives across the enterprise • Act as the point of contact for AWS cost optimization • Identify and prioritize opportunities for cost savings • Monitor and analyze AWS usage, identifying trends and forecasting future cloud spend • Provide regular reports and updates on cost optimization initiatives • Collaborate with finance teams to align cloud spend with budgeting • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track performance • Ensure cloud financial governance and implement best practices • Drive continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs without sacrificing performance • Participate with our AWS TAM team and Cloud House of Excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance, Business, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in cloud cost management, cloud operations, or FinOps, preferably within AWS environments • Strong understanding of AWS services, pricing models, and cost management tools • Experience with cloud financial management platforms and FinOps methodologies • Proven track record in identifying, driving, and monitoring cost optimization initiatives • Ability to analyze cloud cost data, create reports, and communicate findings clearly • Excellent project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Knowledge of cloud usage forecasting, budgeting, and financial governance best practices • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment • Preferred: AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification • Experience working with a FinOps vendor or FinOps certified • Familiarity with cloud cost management tools like AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, CloudCheckr, and CloudZero FinOps platform
