Description

• Solve business problems using data exploration and statistical techniques • Conduct research and collaborate with product management and business stakeholders • Extract and manipulate large data sets, leveraging tools including Python, PySpark, and SQL • Develop data science solution prototypes and communicate risks • Write production-quality optimized code using test-driven development practices • Write and maintain unit and integrations testing suites • Identify areas for automation and implement solutions • Provide mentorship to junior associates • Perform code review for production-ready software solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Math, Data Science, Engineering, or quantitative field + 4 yrs work experience, or computational MS + 2 yrs, or PhD with computational research experience • Demonstrated proficiency in Python and SQL programming • Ability to independently explore and manipulate large, complex data sets • Hands-on AI/ML algorithm development experience leveraging ML libraries and frameworks • Experience developing and deploying production AI product Python code in a cloud-native, micro-service environment • Strong proficiency with software tools such as Git, linting, and unit/integration testing • Ability to quickly learn and skill-up with unfamiliar data or products • Strong communication skills
