• The Associate Corporate Counsel is responsible for the timely drafting, review, revision and negotiation of contracts. • Must ensure compliance with negotiated business terms, regulations, and Avantor policies and procedures. • This position will report into the SVP - Commercial, IP, Privacy and Contract Lifecycle Management and will be REMOTE. • Work independently to draft, review, and revise agreements under tight deadlines. • Coordinate contract negotiation with multiple, cross-departmental functions.

Requirements

• JD required; current license to practice law required. • Minimum 8 years legal experience required. • Must have working to expert knowledge of contracting and legal concepts and terms. • Experience in the life sciences industry preferred, but not required. • Strong background/experience with contract preparation and/or review required. • Experience in project management and execution on multi-departmental projects a plus. • Advanced abilities for contract negotiation.
