โ€ข Sell consultatively, detailing products, determine customer needs and make recommendations โ€ข Leverage available resources to effectively implement company marketing plan โ€ข Build and sustain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty โ€ข Work with sales management to develop strategic territory business plans โ€ข Manage Avantor's vast product portfolio and execute company defined sales and marketing strategies โ€ข Prospect and establish new customers by managing sales pipeline โ€ข Expand Avantor's role with existing customers by developing retention strategies โ€ข Develop strong relationships with manufacturers and local manufacturer representatives

โ€ข College degree or equivalent/applicable experience required โ€ข Prefer 2-5 years of experience working in a complex sales environment โ€ข Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office, specifically Teams with preference for experience in Salesforce or Clikview โ€ข Science or manufacturing research background โ€ข Distribution experience and a scientific background and/or laboratory/research environment experience โ€ข Excellent communication and team interaction skills โ€ข Ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers โ€ข Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and territory โ€ข Excellent analytical skills and ability to sell strategically within an account โ€ข Willingness to travel to customer locations minimum 3 days a week โ€ข Valid driver's license required
