📋 Description

• The Database Administrator I is responsible for the basic management and maintenance of the organization/s databases. • Monitor the database performance, perform routine backups, and assist with the implementation of security measures. • Work under the guidance of senior team members, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and availability. • May have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required • Associate's degree in a field of study relevant to the current position is preferred. • A minimum of 0-3 years' experience in a similar or related role required • One or more current, industry standard certifications preferred (CompTIA DataSys+, CompTIA Data+, Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Database Administrator, Oracle Database 23ai Certified Associate, etc.) • Working familiarity with popular database management systems (DBMS) such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc. • Basic understanding of SQL for data manipulation and retrieval. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues effectively. • Strong attention to detail for maintaining accuracy in database management. • Effective oral and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple project activities simultaneously. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technologies and business needs. • Accepts ownership and welcomes responsibility.
