• Company Overview: Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group (EHCG) is a Woman-Owned Small Business specializing in IT Consulting. • Job Description: Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support the migration of on-premise applications to the cloud. • Migration Strategy & Execution: Lead and support the migration of Oracle databases. • Oracle Database Management: Manage and maintain Oracle databases. • Cloud Architecture Design: Design secure, scalable Oracle database solutions in the cloud. • Database Optimization: Monitor database performance and optimize Oracle databases. • Backup and Recovery: Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies. • Security and Compliance: Ensure databases adhere to security and compliance standards. • Automation & Scripting: Use automation tools to streamline database tasks. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams for migration. • Documentation: Maintain documentation on database configurations and procedures.
🎯 Requirements
• Active Secret Security Clearance. • Security+ or higher-level certification. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. • Advanced knowledge of Oracle database management. • Strong understanding of AWS architecture, networking, and security concepts. • Familiarity with cloud-native tools such as AWS RDS, Aurora, DMS, and CloudWatch. • Expertise in backup, recovery, and high availability solutions like Oracle Data Guard and RAC. • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation. • Understanding of government compliance requirements and ability to implement secure database architectures in AWS GovCloud. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
