β€’ Barbaricum is a rapidly growing government contractor providing leading-edge support to federal customers in Defense and National Security. β€’ The Software Safety Engineer will support system and software engineering efforts, ensuring safety and compliance. β€’ The role involves providing high-level engineering analysis and feedback throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing on risk management and system design. β€’ The engineer will contribute to technical reviews, requirements management, and milestone documentation.

Requirements

β€’ Active DoD Secret Security Clearance. β€’ A Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering from a college or university. β€’ A Masters degree in any of the preceding disciplines may be substituted for one year of general experience. β€’ A minimum total of 10 years experience in the development of software for DoD computer systems using Ada, C, C++, or Java programming languages including a minimum of three years experience in the development of real-time software for DOD tactical platforms or DoD simulation/stimulation systems.
