Description

• Responsible for delivery of ABAP program assets based on technical specifications. • Provide technical expertise for system design, testing, implementation and support. • Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion. • Support inbound and outbound IDOC programs, troubleshoot and correct errors. • Partner with SAP functional team in architecting solutions. • Responsible for thorough unit testing of development. • Develop and implement changes per change management processes for SOX compliance. • Participate in upgrades, support packs and enhancement pack upgrades. • Analyze existing processes and implement solutions for improvement. • Manage vendors and third parties for timely delivery. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• BS in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP Developer in SAP ECC 6.x. • Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP development technologies. • Proven knowledge of interfaces, enhancements, workflow, user exits, BADIs, RFC, BAPI, SmartForms, ALE/EDI & Idocs. • Ability to understand EDI maps and develop interface mapping EDI documents. • Experience in setting up EDI maps and managing scheduled batch jobs. • Strong debugging skills in ABAP & IDOC. • Proven experience through at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP ECC and at least one upgrade/enhancement pack/support pack. • Working knowledge of the functionality of integration points to other core SAP modules. • Experience with middleware software and SAP HANA is a plus. • Strong prioritization, fast learner and multi-tasking skills. • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
