• BDR Solutions, LLC excels in delivering best-value services to U.S. Federal Civilian and Defense agencies, driving mission success with excellence and innovation. • We specialize in modernizing government systems for health, social services, and disaster relief, enhancing veteran lives. • Role Overview We are seeking a DevOps Lead to build, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines for Smile Digital Health. • This role involves collaborating with development, security, and engineering teams to implement Everything as Code, optimize CI/CD workflows, and ensure secure, high-quality software delivery. • The ideal candidate has expertise in Python, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible. • Strong troubleshooting skills, cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP), and experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration are highly valued. • This role also requires meticulous documentation, continuous improvement, and a customer-first mindset. • Military Veterans encouraged to apply.

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a DevOps Engineer type of role or similar software engineering role is preferred. • Proficiency in Python is essential along with good knowledge of Java Applications. • Experience working with Gitlab CI/ CD, Jenkins is important. • Ansible, Terraform or Chef, proficiency in Java, Golang, AWS Cloudformation and Azure ARM Templates would be beneficial. • Able to prioritize and track multiple projects in parallel. • Highly responsive and have a customer-first mindset. • Knowledge of cloud service providers and best practices around implementation and configuration, preferably managing customer environments is nice to have but not required. • Knowledge of operating and maintaining production systems in Linux and public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI is an asset but not required. • An understanding of Kubernetes or other Docker orchestration tools is nice to have but not required.
