Description

• Supervisory responsibilities for the insurance product compliance team; • Review and analyze state statutes, regulations and bulletins to determine impact and ensure adherence to filing and regulatory requirements; • Standardize and implement company forms and policyholder notices; • File and maintain all needed company licenses; • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance and regulatory reporting; • Work closely with Beam’s insurance carrier partners on rate, form, and network filings; • Work closely with Beam’s insurance carrier partners to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and business requirement documents; • May be responsible for preparing and submitting filings via SERFF; • Communicate rate, rule and forms filings with pertinent areas of the business; • Participates in preparing regulatory and compliance documents and/or reports; • Coordinates with state insurance departments on filing requirements, contract language and form requirements; • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience • Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in the insurance industry • Familiarity with insurance laws and regulations • Knowledge of insurance concepts, principles, and practices
