• Beam was founded in 2012 to modernize the dental benefits industry. • Seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager passionate about team effectiveness. • Oversee a team of 6–10 engineers, collaborate closely with Product and Design teams.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years managing engineering managers or senior ICs. • Proven ability to finesse product requirements and translate them into actionable plans for engineering teams. • A bias for EQ-led growth, fostering a culture of trust, empathy, and team success. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Security, Product, Design, and executive leadership to drive impactful results. • Demonstrated experience in shaping engineering roadmaps and aligning them with broader business objectives. • Strong track record of managing competing priorities in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
