Description

• Plan and implement strategies to optimize product delivery and engineering processes. • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to align engineering with business goals. • Remove roadblocks and advocate for resources to ensure seamless team collaboration. • Lead agile practices, driving continuous improvement and team growth. • Manage incident response, post-mortems, and on-call rotations to ensure timely resolutions. • Guide architecture and design decisions, ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Mentor and support Engineering Managers, fostering leadership and consistent team performance. • Provide feedback and career development support, empowering team members to take ownership. • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations in collaboration with People Operations. • Oversee team workload, vacation, and professional development through regular check-ins. • Ensure high-quality, reliable software solutions that align with business objectives. • Communicate progress and priorities clearly to stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of leadership experience within engineering teams, with a track record of success in agile, product-driven environments. • Strong background in people leadership, process improvement, and fostering high-performance teams. • Proven ability to mentor and develop engineering talent while driving collaboration across the organization. • Hands-on technical expertise, with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and engineering best practices. • Startup experience is a plus—thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where ambiguity and change are constant. • Innovative thinker with a strategic, creative approach to solving complex technical and organizational challenges.
