• The SEO Manager is responsible for aligning with content creators, developers, PR, and marketing teams to drive SEO initiatives that support BECU’s membership and engagement goals. • This role will focus on enhancing site visibility through strategic SEO efforts, with a priority on organic traffic growth. • Key responsibilities include developing and overseeing a comprehensive organic search strategy, as well as tracking, testing, optimizing, and reporting outcomes.
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent work/educational experience. • Advanced degree preferred. • Typically requires a minimum of five years of experience in SEO/Organic Search Engine optimization and website performance management. • Previous role at a financial or similarly highly regulated industry preferred. • Familiarity with BrightEdge, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or similar research and reporting tools required. • Experience implementing and managing successful SEO strategies resulting in improved organic search rankings and increased website traffic. • Experience with search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page/off-page optimization techniques, link building strategies, SEO tools/platforms, and ability to develop/execute effective on-site and off-site link building campaigns. • Experience with technical SEO aspects, including website speed optimization, site crawlability, and code optimization best practices, including Core Web Vitals tracking. • Ability to conduct keyword research, create SEO-friendly content, optimize meta tags, headings, and alt tags, and ensure engaging, relevant content for the target audience.
