• Lead organic social media marketing efforts. • Recommend and develop tools and tactics to bring the brand’s strategy to life on social media. • Develop social media content calendar in line with overall editorial calendar for various platforms. • Partner with creative department to develop and bring social content to life. • Work with copywriters on social copy and write copy when needed. • Lead community management efforts, engaging with consumers and representing a direct line to the brand for customers. • Collaborate with digital/e-comm team to share insights and recommend content for paid social support. • Liaise with Sales + Trade Marketing to ensure applicability of social to HFS network. • Liaise with International marketing contact to ensure cross-surfacing of INT content where applicable. • Analyze social assets and data to make informed recommendations for continual improvement. • Lead influencer program with external agency to develop influencer marketing to meet brand’s objectives, including influencer briefs, managing influencer budget, aligning with content calendar, and reviewing and approving influencer content. • Help develop and maintain the brand voice socially and be the steward for the brand’s tone on social media, both in copy for posts and in response to consumers. • Develop a Solaray social playbook with guidelines for content and community management. • Support the brand lead in creating and executing annual brand plans. • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree. • 5-8 years of social media management experience preferred. • Some experience in the supplement industry and knowledge of DSHEA guidelines preferred. • Strong project management skills and commitment to executional excellence. • Experience working with internal partners and outside digital agencies to meet social goals and KPIs. • Experience in community management, engaging with consumers and directly voicing and representing a brand. • Quick turnaround and tenacity are important, along with the ability to proactively problem solve and work cooperatively with others. • Ability to balance thinking strategically with diving deep into details and executing projects. • Self-motivated, positive, and passionate. • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills. • Exceptional oral and written communicator capable of explaining complex and/or abstract ideas in clear and succinct terms. • Has finger on the pulse of social trends and can apply, in an on-brand manner, in copy and creative. • Ability to work with internal and external cross-functional teams to accomplish various tasks. • Expertise in a variety of social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok; proven experience growing social followings and engagement. • Understanding of design basics and comfortability using programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar. • Strong experience using MS Office Suite including Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
