• Responsible for supporting positive employee relations, culture, employee retention & engagement • Oversee payroll data input, benefits and maintain HR Information Systems (HRIS) • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs • Support recruitment efforts to attract top talent • Ensure compliance with SOX in the administration of the company handbook and policies
• 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or PHR, SPHR or other HR certification preferred • Excellent project management and execution skills with limited oversight • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • Proven experience in HR management within a small, public biotech • Strong understanding of employment law, HR controls related to SOX and HR best practices • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights related to compensation, performance, and employee engagement • Demonstrated ability to support programs that build and maintain a positive company culture and foster employee development • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems in a public company • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
