Description
• Senior Business Development and Capture Lead for AU/NZ focusing on sales growth in defence and non-defence sectors. • Close significant sales in Australia and New Zealand. • Identify and generate new business opportunities in the territories. • Develop sales and marketing strategies relevant to new business opportunities. • Manage the sales cycle to create opportunities and win/close deals equivalent to $20 million USD in revenue each year. • Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • 10+ years of experience in Australian military sales/procurement/programmes, at procurement agency/ADF/Department of Defence level, capability sponsors, and end users. • 10+ years of experience of defence/aerospace/IT business-to-business sales/procurement/programmes in Australia. • Optionally with 12 months civilian sales/business development experience. • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
