Description

• Support ERA’s national campaigns and coalition work defending civil rights and advancing gender justice • Collaborate on work plans and strategy memos • Produce materials, manage projects, and coordinate events for national campaigns • Research and draft talking points for public presentations • Track and analyze legislative progress on Equal Pay Today Policy Agenda

Requirements

• Law degree with 2-5+ years of relevant experience • Understanding of legislative and regulatory processes • Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize policy-related information • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Commitment to civil rights, racial justice, gender equity, and social justice • Ability to work independently and follow through • Collaborative, flexible mindset • Strong organizational, project and time management skills • Self-motivated and curious • Exceptional work ethic and sense of responsibility • Detail-oriented with focus on quality and accuracy • Comfortable in a tech-oriented, paper-less environment • Committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism • Experience in grassroots and/or grasstops organizing a plus • Experience in employment law a plus • Ability to travel locally and willingness to travel to San Francisco at least once a year
