Description

• Bixal is seeking a Finance and Administration Director for a Comprehensive Technical Assistance for Health Supply Chain. • Will lead the financial and operational management of the contract, ensuring compliance with USAID regulations. • Collaborate with Chief of Party to manage budgets, logistics, and project procurements. • The role offers a meaningful opportunity on a project that aligns with Bixal’s mission. • This position is contingent on contract award by the client, valid up to nine years.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant field, plus at least 10 years experience, with six years of relevant experience in project operations management, preferably with USAID-funded projects or other international development programs. • Proven experience managing cost plus fixed fee contracts, time and materials and other similar USAID contract mechanisms. • Experience managing day-to-day operations, including administration, logistics, procurement, and budgeting. • Experience in financial management, budget development, monitoring, and reporting. • Demonstrated supervisory experience, including managing a team and fostering a collaborative work environment. • Demonstrated experience working on USAID-funded projects and supporting overseas staff. • Strong understanding of USAID regulations and procedures related to program implementation, budgeting, and reporting. • Excellent organizational abilities, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in liaising with USAID, vendors, and other key stakeholders. • Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational and financial issues effectively. • Familiarity with event logistics and procurement processes on USAID-funded projects. • Ability to draft budgets, financial reports, and other project deliverables. • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to contractual requirements.
