📋 Description

• Blockskye is transforming corporate travel and entertainment with next-generation blockchain-powered booking, payment, and expense solutions. • We're seeking an experienced Controller to join our rapidly scaling Series C startup. • You'll be a key member of our finance team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and financial reporting as we navigate our growth phase. • Manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close processes. • Oversee financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP. • Lead and develop the accounting team as we scale. • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures. • Prepare financial analyses to guide business decisions. • Support fundraising activities and investor relations. • Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury functions. • Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits. • Partner with department heads on budgeting and financial planning.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a controller role • Experience in a high growth startup environment strongly preferred • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems • Experience implementing financial systems and processes • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Possess demonstrated problem solving, decision making and time management skills • Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to effectively work across teams to deliver shared goals • Work well under pressure, adapting quickly to change and adversity • Travel industry experience is a plus
