Description

• We are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our fast-paced and growing marketing/communications team on a full-time basis. • This role will manage our social media profiles and content creation, support partnership development efforts via email campaigns and data management, and provide administrative support for marketing and communications events, swag, and scheduling. • The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communications skills, a deep understanding of social media trends, and the ability to create engaging and professional content using tools like Canva and Adobe Illustrator. • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and a personal connection with type 1 diabetes are a plus. • This is a full time, remote, home-office based role eligible for a full benefits package including paid holidays, PTO, and competitive pay in a mission-based work environment. • A private, quiet, home office space is required. Candidates can live anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience managing social media for business or professional purposes (experience with Facebook and Instagram required; TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn a plus). • 1+ years of experience in creating visually appealing content preferably using Canva (experience with Adobe Illustrator is a plus). • Ability to travel regularly for in-person meetings, conferences & events. • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or related field. • Experience supporting email marketing campaigns and managing data in CRM tools. • Experience in event planning and logistics, including scheduling, ordering supplies, and coordinating with external partners. • Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable insights. • Strong attention to detail and follow-through. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Strong follow-up and follow-through with proper documentation to support actions/decisions. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Strong writing and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to tailor communications to different stakeholders. • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and strong time management. • Empathetic and willing to learn about type 1 diabetes to connect with the community. • Proficiency in English is required.
