Description

• Produces engineering design elements consistent with project specifications. • Produces design elements and troubleshoots flaws in accordance with the project hours, scope, and parameters. • Produces engineering construction documents based on project specifics. • Manages project timelines and related design activity communication between the design team and the client accurately and timely. • Provides assistance in the preparation of proposals and engineering agreements. • Provides project coordination with in-house and outside sources. • Provides timely consultation on projects to manage schedules, deadlines, site surveys, punch lists, building codes and standards consistent with company quality standards. • Accurately and consistently execute QA/QC process. • Produces accurate and complete engineering project specifications within project parameters. • Provide timely billing of projects to the accounting department. • Actively participates in post design activities and represents the company in client meetings, through construction completion. • Actively mentor junior engineers and designers. • Follows established company policies and procedures. • Actively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies, and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years in mechanical engineering • Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals • Excellent communicator, organizer, and engager • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and priorities • Initiate and enjoy independent problem-solving • Successfully incorporate feedback and manage multiple points of view • Demonstrate excellent language and written communication skills • PE License preferred
