Description

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state subsidy programs • Assists with all aspects of the programs, from initial contract review to account reconciliation • Serves as a subject matter expert for Finance, Accounting and Sales • Assists internal and external customers in understanding complex forms and filings • Responsible for assisting with audits by gathering information needed to meet audit requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years’ experience with federal and state subsidy programs • Extensive working knowledge of USAC subsidy programs, databases and processes • Demonstrated work with USAC, Funds for Learning • Knowledge of Brightspeed’s Products and Services, and billing systems • Strong analytical & communication skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Internally driven, able to work without significant oversight and able to lead projects from start to finish • Creative problem-solver • Team-player who can also work independently • Motivated to identify issues and develop solutions
